The candyplants can only hold her attention for so long and the allure of finding more is what causes her to move further inland, going on a short journey all her own. Well, she's on her guard, is the thing. Ready to run back towards the mana pool at the slightest prompt and taking cover in whatever underbrush she can on her way to find more plants. Her bag is stuffed with so candy flavored fruits that it's making a lot of noise. Which isn't great. She actually hates that, but she can't abandon her bag and while this is a little problem in the grand scheme of things, it's what causes her to stand up from her hiding place.
And she can see a figure in the marsh. One she doesn't recognize from behind, so she watches them quietly, noting the way he's eyeing the grass and helpfully says-"You can't eat that kind. That grass doesn't taste like candy."
